Metabolic Balance® is a German diet program that is based on over 25 years of research. First, we assess exactly where your health is at in an initial consultation.  We look at any issues such as hormonal imbalances, toxicity, stress, thyroid issues etc to see whether any of these may be part of why you can’t lose the weight.  I also like to ask questions about your relationship with food  as this I find is a big factor in losing weight and ultimately keeping it off.  Commitment to change is also another big question here.  The program works and works extremely well, but you need to be willing to do the food prep and try new foods.  If not, then I would suggest Metabolic Balance® is not the program for you and we work out an alternate solution.  If you decide Metabolic Balance® is right for you, then we will take your body measurements and look at your food likes and dislikes and you will be given a form to get fasting blood tests done.  
  2. Fasting Blood Test – This test assesses 36 different blood parameters, including inflammatory markers, thyroid levels, cardiac markers, iron studies, cholesterol breakdown, pancreatic enzymes, liver studies and blood glucose levels.  Together with your measurements, your tests results will be used to formulate your unique nutritional plan.
  3. Congratulations you now have a Metabolic Balance® Plan! – Your plan is usually ready for you a week from having your blood tests done and is specific to you and your unique nutritional needs.  It is beautifully set out into 4 phases equipped with shopping lists and meal plans.

Here’s my own experience with MB helping my Endometriosis, Endo & Me


A client’s experience

With the onset of menopause (….and COVID) my weight just ballooned.  Nothing seemed to shift it – I just kept getting heavier and heavier.  Juanita suggested Metabolic Balance and, at first, I wasn’t sure.  Then, after struggling with other methods I finally decided to commit…and I’m so glad I did.
